Position Type: Full timeRemote Type: Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 Job Shift: Job Description: Dunwoody has been approved to start a new Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering starting in Fall 2027. The college is seeking an Assistant Professor to support the development of its new Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering program. This role will be evenly divided between teaching existing School of Engineering courses (50%) and leading civil engineering curriculum development efforts (50%). Primary Objective Engineering faculty are responsible for leading the teaching and learning process with an emphasis on curriculum development and continuous improvement. They create an environment that enables students to achieve course learning outcomes while maintaining, updating, and developing curriculum. The ultimate goal is to prepare students to demonstrate the knowledge, skills, ethical standards, and proper use of tools required to advance the profession.
