Role Summary

As a Warehouse Associate for Repack Operations, you are responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely handling of service parts with a primary focus on made-in-house repack activities within the Normal campus. Responsibilities

  • Move material into service-ready packaging in line with approved repack methods and handling standards.

  • Utilize gantry crane, lift-assist equipment, or other approved material-handling tools to package larger or heavier propulsion parts into ship-ready containers or crates.

  • Protect outbound quality by following packing guides, pallet safety requirements, and standard packaging instructions to prevent in-transit damage.

  • Support internal material movements between Normal locations as required to maintain repack flow and service readiness.

  • Follow Standard Work Sheets, training checklists, and process controls for all repack procedures.

  • Maintain a safe work environment by following EHS requirements, using correct lifting techniques, and wearing required PPE at all times.

  • Apply 5S standards and support housekeeping, organization, and waste identification in the work area.

  • Work across repack, dock, putaway, and related warehouse activities as business needs evolve and volumes scale.

  • Partner with leadership and Ops Excellence on process improvements related to repack flow, productivity, quality, and material handling.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, packaging, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred; automotive experience is a plus.

  • Experience handling large, cumbersome, or odd-shaped parts preferred.

  • Comfortable operating or learning approved lift-assist equipment, including gantry crane support for applicable parts.

  • Basic computer skills and ability to follow digital or written work instructions.

  • Strong attention to detail, safety, and outbound quality standards.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and rotate between work areas when needed.
