LAZ Parking is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Valet Attendants to join our team at the beautiful La Bahia Hotel in Santa Cruz. As a Valet Attendant, you'll create a memorable first and last impression for guests by delivering exceptional service while safely parking and retrieving vehicles.

Location: La Bahia Hotel | Santa Cruz, CA

Pay: $17.40/hour + Tips

Position Type: Part-Time

Schedule: Open availability required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously throughout a shift

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a professional and friendly attitude
• Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles
• Assist with traffic flow and vehicle staging areas
• Provide directions, information, and assistance to hotel guests
• Maintain a smooth and organized valet operation
• Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and hotel staff
• Deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, valet, or parking experience
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
