About the RoleJLL is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager with advanced expertise in hard services, critical systems management, and client relationship development. This position is ideal for facilities professionals looking to elevate their career by taking on strategic portfolio management responsibilities while maintaining hands-on oversight of critical building systems. As our Facilities Manager, you'll support over 2 million square feet of industrial spaces while serving as a key client liaison. You'll report to the Senior Facilities Manager and collaborate closely with both Senior and Site Directors to drive operational excellence, strategic planning, and client satisfaction across the portfolio. Work Schedule: Second shift (1:30 - 10 PM), weekends required Client Relations and Strategic Support Serving as a client liaison for facilities operations, you'll build strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders. Translating complex technical issues into clear, actionable recommendations for client decision-making is crucial. You'll respond proactively to client needs and concerns, demonstrating exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities, while representing JLL professionally in all client interactions. Operational Excellence and Compliance Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports for senior management and clients, and maintaining comprehensive documentation of all systems, maintenance activities, and operational procedures are ongoing responsibilities. You'll support emergency preparedness planning and business continuity initiatives. Team Leadership and Development Providing guidance and direction to engineering and maintenance staff across assigned properties is key. You'll support training and professional development initiatives for facilities teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including property management, leasing, and project management rounds out your leadership responsibilities. Sound like you? To apply, you need to be: Competent and goal-driven To be a fit for this role, you will have Eight plus years of relevant experience of property management. Likewise, experience of managing commercial contracts and budgets may just help you land this job. You'll also need to be a goal-oriented individual who's passionate about managing a successful team, maintaining a safe working environment, with strong vendor management practices. Organized and analytical We're looking for a self-motivated and quick-thinking facilities manager who can solve problems creatively, with holistic methods and approaches. We're on the lookout for well-organized leaders who anticipate future requirements, plan in advance and constantly stay ahead of deadlines.
