Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the supervision and daily operations of one or more areas of a manufacturing facility such as machining, assembly, finishing, cycle counting, shipping/receiving, warehouse and other related manufacturing areas of the PSG brands.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the supervision of department employees to include overall direction, mentoring and training.
  • Responsible for the supervision of the department to include the overall direction, mentoring and training of employees.
  • Reviews specifications and procedures to organize methods and equipment to ensure accurate, on time delivery of quality products.
  • Studies production schedules and estimates employees' work hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  • Ensure accurate and timely transactions are maintained in the ERP system.
  • Makes recommendations to management on personnel, equipment, procedures, and methods to improve & meet production goals.
  • Analyzes and resolves problems and or assists in solving work problems.
  • Develops and motivates employees to achieve work and career goals.
  • Coordinates movement of material within shop to ensure safe, efficient operation.
  • Confers with other production supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
  • Reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel.
  • Other essential duties may be assigned as required.
  • This position is also responsible for, with authority to follow ISO procedures, initiate action to prevent problems, document quality problems, contribute to problem solutions, verify implementation of solutions, control further processing when a problem is identified, protect the environment, including preventing pollution, analyzing or identifying areas for correction or improvement.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Associate or technical degree in business or related field; three to five years successful experience; 3 years minimum experience in a supervisory / manager capacity; or equivalent successful combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to travel as required and /or directed.
  • Proficiency using the Company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, communication systems, computer systems, software systems, operating systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel and other related programs.

Pay Range: - annually

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
