The Role AMD is seeking a Senior Director, Corporate Security, to lead the company's global security strategy and operations. Reporting to theChief AdministrativeOfficer,thisleaderis responsible forprotecting AMD's employees, executives, facilities, intellectual property, assets, reputation, and business operations across a global technology enterprise that generated more than $34B in 2025. The Senior Director leads AMD's PhysicalSecurity, Investigations, Executive Protection, EventSecurity, and Threat Management functions andis responsible fordeveloping and executing a modern, intelligence-drivensecuritystrategy that protects the enterprise while enablingbusiness growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
As a trusted advisor to the CEO, AMD Executive Team (AET), and senior leaders, this individual provides strategic counsel on enterprise risk, emerging threats, crisis management, executive protection, workplace safety, and organizational resilience. The successful candidate will continue to evolve AMD's globalsecuritycapabilities andbuild a world-classsecurityorganizationoperatingat the pace of a leading technology company.
The Person The ideal candidate is a highly proactive,business-orientedsecurityexecutive with exceptional executive presence, strong judgment, and a proven ability to influence across complex global organizations. This individual thrives in fast-moving environments,anticipateschallenges before theyemerge, and executes with urgency, precision, and attention to detail. They are equally comfortable advising senior executives, leading through critical incidents, driving organizational change, andbuilding trusted partnerships across a highly matrixed enterprise. They have experiencebuilding and modernizing these types of functions for high-tech firms. The successful candidate brings the credibility, polish, and leadershiprequiredto support executive leadership whilebuilding asecurityorganization that elevates the way in which we protect AMD's people, innovation, andbusiness worldwide.
