Position Summary

The Data / Knowledge Management / Dashboard Analyst develops and maintains the tools, trackers, repositories, dashboards, databases, calendars, and reporting processes needed to manage CISA exercise participants, findings, recommendations, lessons learned, program metrics, exercise calendars, and leadership visibility. This role supports both day-to-day program management and longer-term exercise trend analysis.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain tools for participant registration, tracking, analysis, findings management, recommendation tracking, lessons learned analysis, and corrective action monitoring.
  • Maintain knowledge management repositories, SharePoint sites, activity databases, document libraries, exercise calendars, and controlled file structures as directed by the Government.
  • Support dashboards and visual tools that provide real-time visibility into program operations, key performance indicators, initiative status, staffing, deliverables, and emerging requirements.
  • Collect, clean, organize, and analyze exercise data from rosters, surveys, feedback forms, AARs, CAPs, meeting notes, and program reports.
  • Develop metrics, charts, tables, and visual summaries for Monthly Status Reports, leadership briefings, quarterly updates, annual reports, and analytical products.
  • Support semi-annual and annual reviews of exercises and other program data collected through pre- and post-event assessments, questionnaires, and surveys.
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing CTEP materials, CISA.gov content inventories, templates, and other platform materials as directed.
  • Support data calls, RFIs, and leadership requests with accurate, traceable, and well-formatted information.
  • Coordinate with analysts, exercise planners, technical writers, and Government personnel to improve data quality and reporting consistency.
  • Ensure records are maintained in accordance with Government guidance, information protection requirements, and project file standards.


Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, knowledge management, dashboard development, SharePoint administration, program metrics, or business intelligence.
  • Experience managing structured trackers, document libraries, survey data, program metrics, calendars, and reporting datasets.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, and Office 365 collaboration tools.
  • Ability to create clear charts, tables, dashboards, and visual summaries for leadership and stakeholder audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain version control, data integrity, and organized repositories.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Power Platform, or advanced SharePoint experience.
  • Federal program support, DHS/CISA, emergency management, or exercise program data experience.
  • Experience with Section 508-aware dashboards or accessible reporting products.
