About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced, proactive Cross-functional Project Manager to plan, track, and launch high-visibility customer-facing campaigns and feature updates across their premier media services ecosystem (including Music, TV, Arcade, News, Fitness, and more).
This is not a creative production or brand marketing management role. Instead, you will act as the critical "last mile" operational liaison between internal strategy teams, marketing teams, and external technical software engineering partners. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle-from initial intake and requirement building to dependency mapping, execution, testing, and ultimate go-to-market launch.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Project Ownership: Manage complex project lifecycles from initial strategy intake through execution, testing, and final customer-facing launch.
- Technical Liaison: Partner closely with cross-functional engineering and software development teams (including client, pricing, and commerce engineering) to align marketing campaign schedules with broader technical project timelines and track dependencies.
- Navigate Ambiguity: Take high-level, "half-written" project stories or partial information and actively investigate to build comprehensive, executable project plans.
- Workflow Optimization: Maintain, evolve, and optimize collaboration platforms and project workflows (using tools like Wrike, Confluence, Quip, etc.) to help leadership evaluate and prioritize a large portfolio of initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Drive weekly status reporting and presentations to leadership, distilling complex, multi-team technical updates into clear executive summaries.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience: 5-7 years of dedicated project, program, or process management experience. (Note: This role is strictly for project/program managers; product managers will not be considered.
- Technical Collaboration: Proven track record working directly with software engineering, product, and technical teams to ship features or digital campaigns.
- Scale & Complexity: Experience managing projects within massive, fast-paced enterprise environments (handling project teams that can scale up to 100+ people).
- Tool Fluency: Strong experience creating and managing project workflows using enterprise tools such as Wrike, Confluence, Quip, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Mindset: An exceptionally proactive self-starter and "driver" who naturally asks questions, tracks down missing information, and aligns open action items without waiting for a perfect blueprint.
Nice-to-Haves:
Direct experience working within the subscription media landscape or digital streaming services.
- Experience specifically managing consumer-facing feature or promotional launches.
