We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team, where your expertise will directly contribute to the development and sustainment of essential fluid technologies. **Responsibilities:**

* Manage individual technical projects with a high degree of autonomy.

* Perform laboratory-scale testing and investigations within a lab environment, utilizing benchtop equipment.

* Design, optimize, and mix specialized fluid formulations at a laboratory scale.

* Conduct comprehensive laboratory-scale testing, including experiments involving temperature and pressure, for fluid systems.

* Apply knowledge of recommended industry practices for fluid testing.

* Prepare detailed technical reports based on the results of conducted testing.

* Review and analyze data, drawing meaningful summaries and conclusions to inform decision-making.

* Communicate effectively with external suppliers and internal stakeholders across various departments.

* Execute maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

* Author or co-author technical reports, papers, articles, and presentations, contributing to the body of knowledge.

* Share expertise and expand professional networks throughout the organization, including field, research, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

* Collaborate with diverse departments to develop cost-effective, reliable chemical products and solutions.

* Review and comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or an equivalent field.

* Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in specialized fluids, encompassing laboratory work and/or operational roles.

* Proficiency in laboratory-scale testing and investigations.

* Ability to manage technical projects independently.

* Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external parties.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Master of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or an equivalent field.

* 5+ years of experience in specialized fluids, including laboratory work and/or operational roles.

* Experience in specialized fluids lab-scale testing and/or operations.

* Statistical analysis experience.

* Proven ability to author or co-author technical publications.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $37.00 - $40.00/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
