Work Schedule:
This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a hybrid position, and additional details will be shared during the interview process.

We are seeking a Patient Accounts Representative that is bilingual in English and Spanish to:

  • Use your medical billing knowledge and excellent customer service skills to answer all billing related questions while collecting from patients to ensure patient satisfaction and meeting UW Health's self-pay collection goals.
  • Assist patients to ensure swift resolution of outstanding balances by providing information regarding billing practices, policies, and patient billing statements.

Qualifications

  • No minimum education Required
  • Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management or related field Preferred

Work Experience

  • Experience with customer service, insurance, finance, or medical office Preferred
  • UW Health Revenue Cycle experience Preferred
  • Epic Experience Preferred
