UW Health in northern Illinois is currently seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing hospitalist-based behavioral health team in Rockford, IL. Enjoy a rewarding practice in the heart of the Midwest with the only provider of inpatient child psychiatric services in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a well-supported inpatient program while having access to academic opportunities through the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford.

Aspects of Your Role Include:
* Inpatient-focused role working with adult and adolescent psychiatric patients
* 42-bed inpatient psychiatric unit, including 26 adult beds and 16 child and adolescent beds
* Multidisciplinary team including LCSWs, LMFT, pharmacist, occupational and recreational therapists
* ED with dedicated psychiatry rooms and 24-hour crisis intervention team
* Academic appointment and teaching opportunities with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford
* Strong collaboration with primary care and specialty providers throughout the SwedishAmerican Medical Group

Qualifications:
* MD or DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
* Active Illinois medical license and DEA license or ability to obtain
