Custodial Worker 1 - Pymatuning State Park (Seasonal)

This position supports the daily care of park buildings and grounds through routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. The role helps keep facilities safe, orderly and ready for visitors throughout the year. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Facility Cleaning: Clean and disinfect restrooms, showers, cabins, and other park buildings
• Surface Care: Scrub, dust and polish floors, furniture, and fixtures
• Waste Removal: Empty garbage cans, replace bags, and dispose of waste properly
• Grounds Upkeep: Pick up litter, mow grass, trim turf, and clear snow from walkways
• Basic Maintenance: Replace light bulbs, make simple repairs or report needed fixes to supervisors
• Equipment Transport: Operate a pickup truck or utility vehicle to move supplies and cleaning tools around the park

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment March 2027.
• Will work a flexible schedule of 37.5 hours per week, including holidays and weekends as needed

Additional Requirements:

• You must possess a valid driver's license which is not under suspension.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
