JOB SUMMARY
The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a non-profit, bipartisan public policy organization established in 1962 to provide strategic insights and practical policy solutions to decision makers concerned with global security and prosperity. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the largest organizations of its kind, with a staff of some 275 employees, including more than 120 analysts working to address the changing dynamics of international security across the globe. The Critical Minerals Security Program at CSIS seeks to provide evidence-based thought leadership to develop innovative and sensible policy solutions to reduce supply chain vulnerabilities for key minerals. The Program is seeking a Deputy Director & Fellow that reports directly to the Program Director. The Deputy Director and Fellow plays a central role in shaping program vision, developing research initiatives, managing staff, and attracting new support and partnerships. The Deputy Director & Fellow will outline the program's research agenda, produce highquality and highimpact analytical outputs, lead highprofile events, and engage senior stakeholders across government, industry, and the private sector. The position also carries significant leadership responsibilities, including providing management and strategic guidance, supporting overall program direction, and mentoring junior staff to ensure strong research execution and professional development. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Collaborates with the Director to develop research projects from inception through completion, including proposal development, research execution and dissemination.
