Dematic is seeking an on-site HR lead at our Salt Lake City manufacturing facility. This individual will act as the primary HR contact for plant leadership and employees, supporting day-to-day HR operations while building strong relationships across the site.
You will contribute to the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting support, performance management, employee development, employee relations, and change initiatives. As part of the broader HR team, you will proactively collaborate cross-functionally to anticipate needs and deliver effective, people-centered solutions.
This is a highly visible, hands-on opportunity designed for someone eager to learn, grow, and develop into a strategic HRBP. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while aligning HR priorities with business goals. You will partner closely with AMCS Manufacturing leadership to support workforce initiatives and help position Dematic for continued growth and operational excellence.
Location: Hybrid role based in Salt Lake City, UT (minimum three days onsite per week).

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $62,250 - $91,300 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do in This Role:
Partner with leaders on talent, performance management, workforce planning, and employee development Participate in daily plant routines (e.g., SQDC meetings) to align HR support with business needs Maintain a presence through floor engagement, Gemba walks, and employee interaction Drive employee engagement, recognition, and communication initiatives to enhance culture and retention Assist with employee relations matters, including coaching leaders and resolving employee concerns Partner with HR COEs on leave of absence, accommodations, and compliance processes Support onboarding, offboarding, and workforce management for hourly, salaried, and temporary employees Use HR data and reporting to identify trends and recommend improvements in engagement, retention, and performance Support compliance, safety, and audit activities, reinforcing a safe and compliant workplace
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered 1-3+ years of HR experience, with exposure to HR business partnership or generalist responsibilities Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to build credibility and work effectively with leaders and employees at all levels Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Comfort working independently onsite while collaborating with centralized HR COEs Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments preferred Exposure to areas such as employee relations, engagement, talent development, or workforce planning Familiarity with Workday, UKG, or similar HR systems preferred HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred
