Logistics Supervisor
This person will be
responsible for using Avante and TIMS, managing various customer's
shipment bookings and loads plans as well as providing the necessary documents
for shipping. The position is also responsible for customer invoicing, internal
and external customer service, commodity classifications and managing shipment plans US regulations. This person
will need to obtain IATA and IMDG certifications to perform job functions.
Essential Function
Completes Avante, TIMS, TRACKVIA, and other system entries accurately and timely
Supply chain management: Coordinate and
manage the flow of goods throughout the supply chain
Transportation: Schedule and coordinate
shipments and deliveries, select transportation methods, and work with
carriers.
Operations oversight: Supervise warehouse
operations, including receiving, packing, shipping, and order
fulfillment.
Data analysis: Track logistics data,
analyze performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement to
increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Communication: Liaise with internal,
external, transportation providers, warehouse staff to ensure smooth and
timely delivery and resolve issues.
Compliance: Ensure that logistics policies
and regulations are followed
Performs other duties as assigned

Experience
5 Years experience with relevant background
Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Preferred
experience in the transportation, gas, safety, and chemical industry preferred
