In this role, you will provide analytical and planning support to ensure the efficient operation of the organization's supply chain while embodying our core values of Deploy Faster, Operate with Confidence, and Design with Purpose. This role delivers timely, data-driven insights that improve material planning, inventory health, and production readiness, enabling the business to respond quickly to changing priorities and customer demands. By maintaining the integrity of planning data, identifying material risks before they impact operations, and driving continuous process improvements, the Supply Chain Analyst helps the organization operate with confidence and purpose. Through proactive analysis and cross-functional collaboration, this position enables the Procurement team to focus on strategic supplier management, negotiations, and sourcing activities while supporting reliable execution across the supply chain.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) outputs and review action messages to identify planning exceptions, expedite requirements, and mitigate potential supply disruptions.
  • Monitor material availability and develop shortage reports to proactively communicate risks affecting production schedules and customer commitments.
  • Perform inventory planning and optimization analyses to maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Maintain data integrity within the ERP system (Costpoint), including item master records, planning parameters, lead times, sourcing information, and other master data required for effective planning.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute key performance indicator (KPI) reports and executive dashboards related to inventory, supplier performance, planning effectiveness, and material availability.
  • Validate Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure planning accuracy and support Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement with BOM-related issues.
  • Support production planning activities by identifying material constraints and recommending corrective actions.
  • Identify trends, analyze supply chain performance, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Program Management to improve supply chain visibility and operational performance.
  • Assist with root cause analysis of planning, inventory, and material issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support system enhancements, reporting automation, and process standardization initiatives.
  • Ensure planning data and reporting are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Additional duties as needed.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, inventory analysis, procurement, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment, preferably Deltek Costpoint.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other complex production environments is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of MRP planning concepts and inventory management principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience maintaining master data and planning parameters.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI or other business intelligence/reporting tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret large datasets and communicate findings effectively.
  • Knowledge of Bills of Material (BOMs), production planning, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with experience identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting.
  • Must be able to qualify for and maintain a Security Clearance.
