AS OVERVIEW

Operations partners with all areas of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading, and asset management capabilities globally, while providing essential risk management and control. Asset Servicing is responsible for the endtoend management of Voluntary Income and Corporate Action events across global equity and fixed income markets. The team supports internal and external clients through complex, timecritical events such as mergers, restructurings, and shareholder meetings, operating within a highrisk control environment.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is responsible for the daytoday processing and risk management of voluntary corporate action instructions across US and Canadian markets. The successful candidate will execute and control client and firm elections, ensure accurate and timely instruction into local markets, and manage risk through disciplined adherence to controls, escalation, and issue resolution. The role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment under tight market deadlines, and close collaboration with global partners and client service teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Process voluntary corporate action elections across equity and fixed income products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with market deadlines
  • Create and validate announcement information and instruct client and firm elections into DTC/CDS/Euroclear
  • Reconcile and distribute entitlements, investigating and resolving exceptions as required
  • Actively manage operational risk by identifying issues, escalating appropriately, and applying strong controls
  • Partner with client service, technology, legal, and global operations teams to resolve complex eventrelated issues
  • Support process improvements and control enhancements to reduce risk, increase scalability, and improve client outcomes



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE



  • 4+ years of Asset Servicing experience, with strong exposure to voluntary corporate actions
  • Deep understanding of corporate action lifecycles, market practices, and election processing
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a highrisk, timecritical environment
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and sound risk judgment
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to engage confidently with stakeholders across the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistently under pressure



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • Strong understanding of global equity and fixed income markets
  • Strong understanding and ability to navigate DTC/CDS/Euroclear portals to review event details and instruct on positions
  • Understanding of inventory management and settlement activity in DTC and CDS
  • Proactive, controlfocused mindset with a track record of identifying and mitigating operational risk
  • Collaborative team player who contributes to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $80000-$135000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
