Job Summary
Plan, organize and manage the financial functions of a college or other business unit. May oversee human resources and facilities operations. Responsible for setting employee and/or group goals, deciding on organizational structure to meet the goals, assessing employee and/or group performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Institute financial management, unit management, vendors, contractors and auditors. This position typically will advise and counsel unit management. This position will supervise: unit financial/administrative supervisors and staff. Responsibilities

EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
SPECIALIZED SKILLS: This job requires working knowledge of a broad range of office management functions and processes, including those related to accounting records, human resources, facilities management, records management, and related areas. Use of office-related computer applications and systems is required.
Proposed Salary
Job Grade: A12 Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000, annual. Salary will be commensurate with experience and education. Required Documents to Attach

This is a supervisory position. Other Information
This position reports to the Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Operations and leads business/finance, HR administration, facilities, and other administrative operations across OUESS and its reporting units. The role is central to implementing and sustaining a centralized administrative model, including supervision and coordination of administrative staff across the division to ensure consistency, accuracy, and operational efficiency. Primary responsibilities include HR processes and transactions (with a strong emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and timeliness); administrative policies and procedures; budget coordination and financial operations; facilities coordination across OUESS spaces; student employment; travel and professional development administration; procurement; and day-to-day operational support. The position serves as the primary OUESS liaison to the Office of the Provost HR team and the Office of Faculty Affairs on transactional HR and faculty affairs matters. This position also works closely with the Office of the Provost Finance team on budget management and other financial matters. The role chairs or serves on OUESS administrative committees and provides direct and indirect supervision of administrative staff within a centralized reporting structure. The position represents the Associate Vice Provost for Undergraduate Operations in meetings and on committees as needed. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and process development. They bring excellent organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage complex, high-volume work in a dynamic environment.
