Freight Clerk

Now hiring: Freight Clerk in Ontario, CA

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Shift: 9 AM-5:30 PM | Monday-Friday

Freight Clerk Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in freight, logistics, transportation, warehouse, or distribution operations.
• Experience with SAP, WMS, TMS, or other logistics management systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, freight coordination, and transportation processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and work flexible hours as needed.
• Ocean freight or port logistics experience preferred but not required.

Freight Clerk Job Duties:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, shipping, and receiving operations.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, and transportation records.
• Schedule freight pickups, deliveries, and customer shipments to ensure on-time performance.
• Process inventory receipts and shipment transactions in SAP, WMS, and TMS systems.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams regarding shipment status.
• Support ocean freight documentation, inventory accuracy, and daily logistics operations.
• Maintain transportation schedules and ensure compliance with company procedures.
