Senior Director of Operations

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $200,000-$220,000 annually (DOE) + Bonus

Are you a proven manufacturing operations leader with expertise in production, supply chain, automation, and business growth? We are seeking a Sr. Director of Operations to lead a large-scale manufacturing operation, drive operational excellence, and deliver world-class performance across production, engineering, planning, logistics, and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations and develop strategies that drive productivity, quality, delivery, and profitability.
  • Own operational performance, including P&L management, financial planning, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure products are delivered on time, within specifications, and at competitive cost levels.
  • Direct production, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, purchasing, planning, maintenance, logistics, and production control teams.
  • Establish and execute annual operating plans, business objectives, and growth strategies.
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate performance metrics and support strategic business goals.
  • Build and retain high-performing teams through effective workforce planning and leadership development.
  • Support customer relationships through business reviews and operational performance discussions.
  • Lead facility expansion, production ramp-ups, automation initiatives, and New Product Introduction (NPI) programs from launch through production.



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing industry experience, including 5+ years in a senior operations leadership role.
  • Strong P&L ownership and financial management experience.
  • Expertise in high-volume and low-volume manufacturing environments, assembly operations, and automation systems.
  • Proven success leading multi-shift operations and large cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with NPI, operational scaling, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Exceptional leadership, customer relationship, and executive communication skills.
