Job Title: Rehabilitation Services Technician
Department: Sports Medicine / Athletic Training
Schedule: Primarily 2nd Shift hours needed (Afternoons/Evenings)

Position Summary:
The Rehabilitation Services Technician supports the athletic training team by assisting with the delivery of sports medicine services to student-athletes at local high schools and middle schools. This role focuses on patient flow, basic therapeutic support, and operational tasks to ensure efficient, high-quality care in an outreach setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist athletic trainers with the setup, supervision, and breakdown of rehabilitation and treatment sessions
  • Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for daily use and outreach events
  • Guide student-athletes through prescribed exercise programs under the direction of a certified athletic trainer or physical therapist
  • Support injury prevention activities, including warm-ups, stretching routines, and taping preparation
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of treatment spaces and equipment
  • Monitor and restock supplies; communicate inventory needs to supervising staff
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as documentation support, scheduling coordination, and patient intake processes
  • Provide general support during practices, games, and events as directed
  • Ensure adherence to all safety, privacy, and compliance standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field preferred
  • Interest in sports medicine, athletic training, or rehabilitation services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with adolescent populations
  • Ability to follow clinical direction and work effectively as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation to travel between assigned school locations
  • CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
