Responsibilities: Job SummaryThe Category Administrator develops and implements a comprehensive category management strategy across their entire portfolio and will design and streamline the contract review and approval process for supplies, equipment, and services at the necessary quality for the most cost effective solutions. This position includes project management, requirements gathering, contract term and data analysis, contract template development, supplier negotiations, implementation, contract compliance, contract execution, and supplier performance management. Partners with Finance, Legal, and other necessary departments to facilitate change and deliver results. Contributes to the development and maintenance of a contract bid calendar. Understands the Group Purchasing Organization agreements and opportunities to maximize financial return to HonorHealth. Essential Functions
