WESTLAKE Royal Building Products Extrusion Operator- Bristol, TN

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, monitor, and adjust extrusion equipment to produce quality products that meet production and customer specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, start, operate, and monitor extrusion lines and related equipment.
  • Adjust machine settings, including temperature, speed, and feed rates, to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished product for quality, dimensions, and appearance using measuring tools and visual checks.
  • Troubleshoot minor process or equipment issues and communicate larger concerns to supervision or maintenance.
  • Complete production records, quality checks, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and housekeeping expectations.
  • Support changeovers, material handling, and routine cleaning or preventive maintenance activities as needed.
  • Work closely with team members, supervisors, and support departments to meet production goals.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or extrusion experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and resolve basic operating issues.
  • Ability to read and follow production instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing environment and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift. Team members may work around machinery, moving equipment, heat, and noise, and must follow all safety requirements, including the use of required personal protective equipment.
