We are seeking a detail-oriented and organizedMedical Clerkto support the administrative operations of our healthcare facility. The Medical Clerk will be responsible for maintaining patient records, scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and providing general clerical support to medical staff.

Earn $17.00/hour in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  Greet patients and assist with check-in/check-out procedures

  Maintain and update patient medical records and files

  Schedule and confirm patient appointments

  Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate personnel

  Process insurance forms and billing information

  
  
• 
  

  Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations

  Perform general office duties such as data entry, filing, scanning, and faxing

  Assist medical staff with administrative tasks as needed

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Skills in Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel
• The applicant to be able to follow directions with a minimum amount of supervision
• Maintain confidentiality in regards to HIPPA regulations
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and outside contacts including physicians' offices
• Organizational skills and good communication skills
• Current and valid driver's license
• General Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
