Senior Software Engineer - Security Integrations

You'll be joining the Tech-enabled Services team, the group driving our company's transformation into digital security integration. We're building software products that solve the toughest challenges for our customers, partners, and vendors-creating meaningful, scalable solutions.

• Design and develop scalable integrations between physical security devices and cloud services.
• Build and maintain robust APIs to enable seamless platform communication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient data flows.
• Define integration strategies, identify gaps, and develop future-ready solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in peer code reviews.

• A strong technical background, including 8+ years of experience designing and shipping production-level software with meaningful impact.
• Strong collaboration skills-software engineering is a team sport.
• A bias for action and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
• A keen product mindset with a focus on understanding user needs and solving problems directly.
• Experience with physical security devices or IoT ecosystems.
• Expertise in .NET, with experience developing for Windows Server environments and building deployment tools, or a strong commitment to mastering them.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, MAC) and debugging integration challenges.
• Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and push-based communication systems.

• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, with a keen focus on user experience, ergonomics, and integration best practices.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and experience designing scalable web services.

This role requires at least four hours of daily overlap with Eastern US time. Only candidates based in the Americas will be considered.
