Your role We are seeking a skilled Sourcing Engineer to work with our team in Basom, NY. In conjunction with Supply Chain Manager, develop a strategic sourcing roadmap, including defined commodity strategies Supplier onboarding, management, and exit Perform supplier audits as required Align with Quality Team to ensure suppliers meet/exceed quality targets. Drive corrective actions/countermeasures with underperforming suppliers. Improve supplier on-time delivery to meet/exceed targets. Perform root cause analysis and implement countermeasures for underperforming suppliers. Implement cost reduction strategies across the supplier base using a Total Cost of Ownership model. Work directly with purchase planning team to ensure purchasing and stocking strategies align with corporateworking capital targets. Coordinate with Engineering Team on design specifications for approved parts. Negotiate Master Supply Agreements (MSAs) with key suppliers Create, manage and communicate RFQs for both new and existing products. Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team including Supply Chain, Quality, Product Management, Engineering, and Sales Compliance with all company safety and ethics requirements.
