Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is a premiere clinical and academic health system, providing expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems. With more than half of the 259 beds in our teaching hospital devoted to intensive care level services, we are the regional pediatric referral center for Florida's west coast. Physicians and community hospitals count on us to care for critically ill patients and perform complex surgical procedures. POSITION SUMMARY: As an Johns Hopkins St. Petersburg Occupational Therapist, your key accountabilities will include performing assessments and treatments for patients with impairments, practicing family-centered care, and completing accurate documentation. You will also be responsible for demonstrating responsible actions to impact patient access to care and contributing to the department's financial performance. Additionally, you will provide education and mentoring to support the development of students, interns, and staff, and develop or implement clinical activities to improve occupational therapy services. You will also supervise occupational therapy assistants to ensure safe, effective, and efficient delivery of services, all while working in accordance with department, state, and AOTA standards. Other key responsibilities include encouraging patient participation in care plans, supporting revenue cycles, and facilitating communication for continuity of care. Shift: Per Diem/Casual QUALIFICATIONS:
Salary Range: Minimum 56.00/hour - Maximum 56.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
