What to Expect
The Tesla Procurement Compliance team is seeking an Associate Procurement Compliance Specialist to support critical compliance operations across North America's indirect and construction procurement organizations. This role is essential to ensuring audit readiness, risk mitigation, contract compliance, and regulatory adherence for high-value procurement activities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Tax, Finance, HR, Construction, and Supply Chain tomaintaincompliance integrity across multiple sites and programs. Witha strong foundationin procurement processes and compliance frameworks, you will contribute to scalable, efficient, and compliant procurement operations. This role reports to the Procurement ComplianceManagerand requires a proactive mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a subject matter expert on lien management, third-month notices, factoring agreements, and bond filings for Tesla properties across North America
- Own andmaintainthe North America Construction Lien Tracker, proactivelyidentifying,monitoring, and resolving liens to protect project timelines and financial integrity
- Lead compliance efforts for state and federal incentive programs, including Nevada tax abatement reviews and prevailing wage audits
- Coordinate and manage supplier compliance initiatives, including HUB reporting, background screening audits, and certificate of insurance renewals
- Develop andmaintainstandardized compliance documentation and process guides to improve consistency and knowledge transfer
- Support internal and external audits by preparing evidence, tracking clarifications, and ensuringtimelyresolution
- Troubleshoot and provide support for procurement system issues in ATOM and WARP, ensuring smooth operations and minimal disruption
- Partner with HR and site teams tovalidatesupplier compliance and enforce site access controls
- Contribute to the development of performance metrics and reporting tools to enhance supplier management and procurement insights
- Provide end-to-end support for urgent supplier onboarding, reactivation, invoicing, and portal issues tomaintainprocurement continuity
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, ora relatedfield, or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, compliance, vendor management, or contract administration
- Familiarity with ERP systems such asSAP, or similar procurement platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a focus on process improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
