Product Manager, Quality Systems

Tesla is seeking a Product Manager forFactory Software Quality Systems.The Factory Software team is responsible for various Quality Systems used to ensure that the products we build are made to the highest quality standards.

In this role, you willmanagethe product vision and roadmap forvarious Quality Systems used at Tesla,collaborating closely with cross-functionalteams to drive end-to-end solutions that help improve yields, reduce cost of quality.

• Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmapto enhance andoptimize Tesla'sQuality Systems and analysis tools

• Lead cross-functional collaborationwith Product, Design, Engineering, QA, and Production Support teams to drive the development and continuous improvement of thesystems

• Translatecustomer and internal team pain points into intuitive, scalable product features

• Write clear product requirements, prioritize ruthlessly, and partner with engineering and design to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions at speed

• Use data, experimentation, and feedback loops to continuously refine the platform, improving conversion, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

• Collaborate across global operations to adapt workflows to diverse regulatory and market requirements without sacrificing simplicity

• Must be a subject matter expert in Manufacturing Quality with direct hands-onexperience in quality-focused roles (e.g., Quality Engineer, Quality Manager, Process Engineer, or equivalent)

• Candidates should understand quality workflows and pain points from working in these environments

• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality metrics including First Pass Yield (FPY), DPMO, OEE, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).Strong analytical skillswith theability toquery and interpret data, trends, and algorithms, demonstrating comfort with logic and numbers to support decision-making

• A proactive mindset, with a bias towardstaking actionbased on available information and the ability to work through ambiguity

• Success in leading new initiatives, driving results with limited resources and evolving information

• Effective collaborationacross cross-functional teams, balancing multiple competing priorities and fostering alignment among diverse stakeholders.Exceptional communication is a must

• Experienceimplementing AI solutionsis a plus
