Vice President - Consumer (Philadelphia, PA):

What you will do in this role:
  • Set strategic objectives for the Consumer division, focusing on business growth, market share expansion, and innovation.
  • Identify key market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive positioning strategies.
  • Lead the division's participation in corporate strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment across business units and senior leadership.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
  • Own the overall financial performance of the Consumer division, including the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that align with corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop and execute cost-effective strategies that optimize business operations, resource allocation, and investment in key areas of growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams to execute the division's strategic initiatives, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Manage a senior leadership team within the division, providing clear direction and guidance on strategic priorities, operational execution, and leadership development.

This is a position with Almo Corporation. What we look for in a candidate:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field of study, plus seven (7) years of experience with leading business divisions; developing business strategies for revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive advantage; leading and managing cross-functional teams; forecasting and budgeting; managing online retail distribution and building Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies in the appliance and Consumer Electronics (CE) space; legacy Enterprise Resource Planning/Warehouse Management System (ERP/WMS) systems combined with modern digital tools, including AS400, Korber, Stackline, Retail Media, Junglescout, or Helium 10 for an integrated technology stack; operating an appliance/CE distributor of scale; front end digital technology, including Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Stackline, and Retail Media; operating a direct fulfilment Amazon business; sales execution on retail platforms; and/or, market analysis, business development, and long-term strategic planning within the consumer or related sectors.
