Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a mid to senior level transactional associate to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group. This position is part of Womble Bond Dickinson's firmwide Public Company Advisors Team, and the associate will work in a collaborative environment as part of a dynamic multi-office team representing the firm's public company and other clients.

We are particularly interested in candidates located in New York, Boston, and the Washington, DC metropolitan area; however, this position may be based in any of our offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Atlanta, or Baltimore.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have at least four years of corporate & securities experience at a large regional or national law firm.
  • Candidates must have experience with Securities Act of 1933 equity and debt offerings and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 matters, including proxy statements, periodic reporting on Forms 8-K, 10-K, and 10-Q, and Section 16 reporting.
  • Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Candidates must also be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are located or have the ability to become licensed as soon as possible.

Compensation/Other:

  • Womble Bond Dickinson offers competitive compensation and in addition, we offer a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and Paid Time Off "PTO"/Vacation. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
  • The national average salary range for this role is $225,000-$375,000. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience.
