As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Shopping Centers in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the chance to support a dynamic environment while representing Allied Universal with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with tenants, visitors, and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, storefront corridors, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor activity on the property and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or directional support during busy shopping periods, special events, and other high-traffic times.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
