As a Security Officer Armed Driver Rover Patrol in Auburndale, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, drive throughout assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, roadways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership with incident reporting, communication, and follow-up related to security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
