We are seeking a highly experienced and impactful Wireless Network Engineer to join a dynamic global technology team. In this critical 12-month contract role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of enterprise wireless infrastructure, tackling complex connectivity challenges, and leading initiatives that directly enhance user experience and operational efficiency across a vast, global footprint. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining reliable, secure, and high-performing wireless networks, directly influencing the productivity and innovation of a world-renowned organization.

What You'll Do



  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise wireless networks across multiple sites.
  • Architect and manage secure wireless solutions, including advanced authentication and access control mechanisms.
  • Serve as the highest-level escalation point for complex wireless issues, encompassing RF performance and client connectivity challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive wireless site surveys (predictive and active) and strategically optimize network performance based on detailed findings.
  • Deploy and leverage cutting-edge client monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve end-user experience issues before they impact operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable and robust wireless solutions.
  • Drive standardization, meticulous documentation, and the adoption of best practices for wireless engineering throughout the organization.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.


What You Bring



  • 8+ years of dedicated wireless network engineering experience within large-scale, enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in enterprise wireless technologies, particularly within leading industry platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with network access control systems (e.g., RADIUS, AAA, policy management).
  • Advanced knowledge of WiFi design and RF engineering principles, including proficiency in site surveys and performance optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience with wireless analysis and monitoring tools to effectively troubleshoot and improve client performance.
  • Solid understanding of core network fundamentals (switching, DHCP, DNS, security best practices).
  • Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end, from initial concept development through successful deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.


Nice to Have



  • Industry certifications in wireless networking (e.g., CWNA, CWSP, CWDP, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in global, multi-site environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and vendor support processes.
  • Background in high-density or consumer-facing environments.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.
