Aquent is partnering with a leading company in the fashion and apparel industry, renowned for its innovative approach to product development and commitment to quality. This organization is at the forefront of creating desirable products that resonate with a global audience, driven by a mission to inspire confidence and deliver exceptional value. They are seeking a meticulous and proactive individual to join their dynamic team and play a pivotal role in bringing their vision to life.

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and a knack for managing complex data? We are looking for a key contributor to become the backbone of our client's product development operations, directly impacting the launch of thousands of products each season. In this role, your obsession with accuracy and efficiency will be critical to powering their entire product lifecycle management system, ensuring seamless execution from concept to consumer.

About the Role

This is a high-impact, project-focused role where your work directly supports key seasonal deliverables. You will be instrumental in managing the foundational data that drives product development, ensuring accuracy and alignment across multiple teams. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to getting every detail right, you will find significant opportunities to excel and potentially transition to a permanent position with our client.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Manage seasonal color codes, colorway development, and Bill of Materials (BOM) data for product lines.
  • Own color creation and maintenance for raw materials, prints, graphics, and washes through development and production.
  • Track and manage thousands of colorways per season across multiple categories.
  • Conduct and attend live BOM review meetings during key milestone weeks.
  • Reconcile merchant assortment data against product lifecycle management records to catch issues before they become problems.
  • Keep cross-functional teams aligned through clear communication and post-meeting follow-ups.
  • Train and support other teams on product lifecycle management best practices as you become the system expert.
  • Manage overlapping seasonal deadlines and multiple projects without dropping the ball.

The Work Environment

You will work Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm (with a 1-hour lunch break). The team operates with daily standups, clear task lists, and end-of-day check-ins to ensure everyone is aligned and informed. You'll collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and vendor teams, all of whom will rely on your accuracy to move forward.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in fashion, apparel, or product development.
  • Product lifecycle management system experience or a quick ability to pick up new systems.
  • Proficiency in Adobe (Illustrator, InDesign) and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail that borders on obsessive.
  • Speed and efficiency without sacrificing accuracy.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Someone who takes ownership and asks questions when something doesn't add up.
