Description

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician Level I, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting, analyzing, and repair of material handling equipment (lift trucks, wrappers, and other electrical or mechanical equipment).



WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections, cleaning, lubrication and adjustments on all material handling equipment on time without disrupting production

  • Troubleshoot and repair all material handling equipment
  • Battery changing, watering, and maintenance
  • Document labor and materials used for repairs, communicate inventory needs and usage
  • Utilization of technical manuals and reading schematic diagrams
  • Utilization of multimeters, electronic test equipment, hand tools, drills, grinders, and presses

YOU MUST HAVE


  • High School diploma, General Equivalency Degree, or relevant work experience

  • Two years maintenance trades experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Must have own tools
  • Sufficient vision and hearing to work safely
  • A dedication to eliminating waste in all areas of the position

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE


  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Computer Literacy

  • Safety training and/or certification preferred

ROLE SPECIFICS


  • Schedule: Thurs, Fri, Sat 5:00pm to 5:30am
  • Extensive standing/walking on concrete floors
  • Working at heights
