SUMMARY

The CNC Swiss Machine Operator II independently operates CNC machines to produce conforming products per drawings, work instructions, and schedules. This role performs in-process inspections, maintains documentation, and supports production flow with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Operate CNC machines independently per approved instructions.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints and inspection plans.
  • Perform complete part inspections using gauges, comparators, and vision systems as trained.
  • Execute in-process and check-cup inspections.
  • Identify, contain, and escalate non-conforming products.
  • Complete Device History Reports (DHR), GDP documentation, and MRP/ERP transactions accurately.
  • Support training of Machine Operator I employees.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Perform special assignments as directed by supervision commensurate with experience.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Prior manufacturing or machining experience preferred.

An industrial setting dedicated to the production and assembly of medical devices that utilizes machinery, equipment, and specialized processes to transform raw materials into finished products. Fast paced and dynamic environment with a focus on meeting production targets and deadlines, with an emphasis on efficiency, productivity, and quality control. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration, The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions, such as high and low temperatures on the manufacturing plant floor, lighting, loud noises from machine operations, exposure to chemicals and physical hazards, and handling of hazmat waste. In such cases, proper Personal Equipment (PPE) is required and will be provided.
