Position Summary

Manage, lead and coordinate the assembly/test, service and shipping departments.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the "customer end" of the business, i.e. the operation from assembly and test through shipping including service.
- Direct and lead the premier customer service efforts necessary to meet our Division and Group goals.
- Schedule production to meet customer demand as measured by inventory, months supply, on-time delivery and production throughput.
- Coordinate with Production Control personnel to resolve priority scheduling conflicts.
- Maintain data integrity of MRP parameters for all components scheduled.
- Increase the team development program within your scope of responsibility.
- Support the ongoing culture change by providing support to bargaining unit and salaried employees.
- Manage the Computer system to support the changes necessary to ship products
- Improve the measurement systems of all employees and processes in your area of responsibility.
- Support our ISO, Targets and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

- B.S. Degree or 15 years of related manufacturing experience.
- Ability to productively motivate employees.
- Experience with manufacturing processes.
