Overview The Senior Communications Specialist is a strategic communications professional responsible for developing and executing integrated communication strategies that strengthen employee engagement, elevate H.B. Fuller's brand reputation, and support key business priorities. This role leads high-impact initiatives that connect internal and external communications, ensuring alignment between employee experiences and the company's public narrative. Through compelling content development, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration, the Senior Communications Specialist helps amplify H.B. Fuller's industry leadership, culture, and corporate story across global platforms. Partnering closely with executive leaders and internal and external stakeholders, this role drives consistent, impactful messaging that advances the company's strategic positioning and reputation. This position reports to the Senior Global Internal Communications Manager and is based in St. Paul, Minnesota. Primary Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic communications partner for assigned beats (Sustainability/ESG; Community Affairs; Earnings and IR; Legal; IT; EHS; Sourcing; and Facilities), building trusted relationships with internal partners and providing counsel on messaging, planning, and timing Support the development and lead the execution of integrated communication strategies that align internal and external messaging with organizational priorities, including the Sustainability Report and Fuller Impact Lead communication planning and support execution for enterprise events and engagement initiatives, including Sustainability Week, Leadership Forum, CEO Huddles, and other high-impact programs, creating meaningful experiences that reinforce company culture, strategic priorities, and employee engagement Collaborate with internal teams to deliver cohesive communication across internal and external platforms Surface and pitch story ideas that highlight business progress, culture, innovation, and people Create clear, engaging, and high-quality content for internal and external audiences Use analytics to measure content performance and engagement, applying insights to strengthen storytelling and influence future planning Develop and share best practices, templates, and toolkits to promote consistency in tone, branding, and communication quality Establish regular touchpoints with key partners to stay ahead of upcoming priorities, milestones, and events, positioning Communications as a proactive and strategic business partner
Requirements
English language fluency Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in English, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field At least 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or a closely related field Experience developing and executing enterprise-level communications or stakeholder engagement strategies Experience managing budgets Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within budget and timelines Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and Canva
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in in English, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field Proficiency in a second language (Chinese, Spanish, German, or Portuguese) is a plus Experience supporting global initiatives, and working across multiple global regions and cultures Proficient in video editing software Ability to quickly comprehend direction on strategic and highly visible projects Excellent listener, able to articulate a partner's needs and provide strategic solutions Ability to work autonomously while being an excellent collaborator who keeps partners informed and engaged at all phases of the project Strategic and big-idea thinker with the ability to enhance communication efforts

The salary for this role is $95,000 - $125,000.
In addition to your salary, H.B.
