Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Brand Manager! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Whatever your title, whatever your role - it always comes back to this: we're a farmer-owned co-op where everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done. Three maverick farmers started it all - and we've been making our own way ever since. The Brand Manager will be working side-by-side with other members of Ocean Spray's Brand Marketing team to drive growth on Ocean Spray's flagship North American business. You'll be a part of a passionate group of consumer-obsessed marketers looking to drive sustainable growth for the #1 self-stable juice brand in the category. This position, along with the Director and Base Beverage team, is responsible for brand-building and business-building initiatives, ensuring delivery of our annual financial targets to our grower owners.

A Day in the Life...

  • General Brand Management: Responsible for weekly, monthly or quarterly business reporting to Senior Leadership, identifying key growth drivers, as well as areas of opportunity for the beverage business.
  • Strategy & Planning: Develop, own and monitor channel-specific forecasts for Beverage products, as part of Ocean Spray's monthly demand planning process.
  • Lead execution of annual marketing strategies to deliver against the beverage team's fiscal year earnings target and profitability goals.
  • Partner with Director to build Beverage Business Unit annual marketing plans and deliver those plans to Sr. Leadership for endorsement. Lead development of semi-annual Sales materials to Retail Sales team.
  • Communication & Messaging: Drive communication strategy, partnering with Brand Elevation to develop optimal creative messaging, media plan and shopper marketing programs for key drive windows and products
  • Innovation: Lead and champion margin optimization and "design to value" projects for Beverage business to drive top-line and bottom-line growth across Beverage P&L.
  • Teaming & Leadership: Lead and inspire team of cross functional peers, across Sales, Insights, Supply, Operations, Packaging, Finance, on key projects to enable growth for the Beverage business.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Ability to sift through large amounts of data to uncover true drivers behind the "why" and tell the story in a succinct way.
  • Superior presentation skills, both in ability to develop compelling stories and to effectively deliver those stories to audiences at all levels within the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence without authority.
  • Candidate should be self-starter who has demonstrated personal and thought leadership capabilities in prior responsibilities.

Education:

Bachelor's or University Degree (Required) Master's Degree (Preferred)

Work Experience:

At least 5 Years of Experience

Annual Salary:

$116,300 - $145,400

The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.
