Member Consultants are the heart and soul of WSECU. Our Mobile Member Consultants travel between our branches fulfilling the needs of the team for the day. Every day, no matter where you're working, you'll dig deep to listen to what our members need and you go out of your way to make their banking not only easy, but downright pleasant! As a Mobile Member Consultant, you are the go-to, one-stop shop for our members. You will accomplish this by being knowledgeable, empathetic and eager to help! WSECU is a Co-Op with an all-volunteer board-we are truly accountable to our members, but we could not do it without you. Ready to learn more?

Your day might include:

  • Flexibility and Ability to travel statewide on short notice
  • Performing all branch and consumer lending, opening new accounts, and providing teller services
  • Traveling to various branches throughout the northern region with the occasional possibility of statewide travel with short notice
  • Occasional support to other departments and lines of business as needed
  • Striving for and hitting your sales and service goals, while keeping the member's best interest front and center
  • Contributing to your teams successes and celebrating along the way
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with your members
  • Understanding your members' journey, offering products and services to meet their unique needs
  • Contributing to team success in a variety of work environments

What you bring to the team:

For Mobile Member Consultant I

Competitive pay for MMC I: $26.12 - $39.18 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan

  • The target starting pay for this position is $26.12 - $32.65 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account. The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a financial institution
  • Experience with cash handling, lending, new accounts or a combination
  • Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Must be willing to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and maintain and renew the registration annually
  • Personal car travel, reliable transportation

For Mobile Member Consultant II

Competitive pay for MMC II: $30.40 - $45.60 per hour, dependent on relevant qualifications plus an annual discretionary incentive plan

  • The target starting pay for this position is $30.40 - $38.00 per hour, typically within the first half of the range. Actual offers will be based on individual qualifications relevant to the role and will not take an applicant's pay history into account. The range above allows our employees room for growth through annual merit and other pay increase during their tenure in the position.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a financial institution
  • Processing consumer loans, new accounts and member transactions
  • Consistently delivers high-quality work with minimal errors by applying an advanced level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in meeting member and branch needs
  • Maintains intermediate knowledge of BSA, Reg E, Reg Z, and other compliance regulations as it relates to department functions
  • Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Must be willing to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and maintain and renew the registration annually
  • Personal car travel, reliable transportation

Bonus points if you have:

  • Credit Union experience and understanding of financial regulations
  • Sales and customer service training
  • Experience with lending, new accounts, or a combination of both

Where we're located:Northern Region (primarily in Snohomish and King Counties) traveling to various branches throughout Snohomish and Kingcounties with the occasional possibility of statewide travel with short notice. This is an in-branch position.

When you'd work: Monday - Friday, 8:45am - 5:45pm, full time minimum 40 hours per week, with scheduling flexibility required meeting business needs
