Position Summary To troubleshoot, repair, overhaul equipment in several maintenance systems including machining, electrical, plumbing, or welding. Responsibilities ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Maintenance of machine equipment and hand tools. 2. Troubleshoot a problem beyond basic component replacement with two or more specific trades. 3. Installation, alteration, preventative maintenance, and repair of various types of production equipment including but not limited to cleaning and lubricating shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery or plant equipment. 4. Ability to work on hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electron components. 5. Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools. 6. Responsible for proper administration of LOTO, confined space and other OSHA guidelines. 7. Ability to work overtime, including short-notice overtime and weekend coverage to meet business needs. DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/ NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Qualifications High School diploma or GED with a minimum of two years trade school or equivalent experience. Industrial experience in a similar industry preferred.
