Position Overview
The Biotechnology Department in the School of Professional Studies at the University of Kansas Edwards Campus invites qualified scholars and professionals to submit applications that will be reviewed by the faculty and placed in a pool for consideration for part-time Instructor positions. Instructors report to the Director of the Biotechnology Department.

Instructors are instructional members of the faculty and are not eligible for tenure or promotion in rank. Primary role is instruction with no obligations to perform research or service. Instructors are placed in single term appointments, with renewal based upon unit needs and funding as well as performance that meets expectations, not to exceed two continuous semesters. This position is subject to acollective bargaining agreementbetween The University of Kansas and United Academics, United Academics of KU, AAUP, or AFT. UAKU is the exclusive representative. Teach and/or develop a specified number of undergraduate/graduate courses per semester for the Biotechnology program.
BTEC 341- Principles of Bioprocessing Laboratory I
BTEC 460- Introduction to Quality Control/Quality Assurance in Biotechnology BTEC 542- Protein Expression in Insect Cells BTEC 630- Biotechnology, Regulation, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance.
