Job Description
The Operations Inventory Analyst Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day management and inventory control practices in Concord NC. Applicant will ensure accurate inventory records, conducting routine inventory audits, and providing recommendations on inventory management strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, detailed knowledge of inventory management processes, ability to drive continuous process improvement programs, and to drive improved performance through best-in-class supplier management practices.
Job Duties:
- Carry out data analytics, research, and response for inventory variances.
- Undertake analysis on inventory levels, aging, and obsolescence.
- Responsible for preparing and reporting progress of quarterly and monthly inventory forecast.
- Responsible for the management of excess and obsolescence.
- Scrutinize and analyze inventory issues and apply LEAN methods to prepare recommendations for policy/process improvements related to inventory tracking and accuracy.
- Audit Inventory Management Systems, processes, and controls; ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Maintain and Develop performance metrics and reporting tools
- Responsible for key performance indicators (KPI). Address failures in corrective action response (CAR) program to address root cause(s).
- Responsible for analyzing data and generating monthly dashboards/reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Responsible for identifying the root cause of all inventory adjustments.
- Responsible for resolving errors or exceptions on sales/orders inbound and outbound purchase orders and transfers.
- Responsible for Concord's accuracy of inventory.
- Audit Product / Item Masters to ensure accuracy.
- Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements as required.
Qualification
Qualifications :
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in supply chain/Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration or equivalent/relevant work experience.
- Certified Materials Resource Planner (CMRP), Certified Purchasing Inventory Management (CPIM) certification, or APICS certification/coursework preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years related experience in inventory control analyst warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution.
- Required, an advanced knowledge of Excel and data mining, ability to translate data into conclusions or actions for improvement, and experience with process improvement or LEAN methods.
- Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills, including Macros, Filters, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.
- Possess working knowledge of Oracle NetSuite ERP and WMS. Knowledge of High Jump WMS preferred.
- The Applicant should be able to communicate both verbally and in writing. The ability to establish working relationships across all stakeholders.
- Inventory control analysts is responsible for spotting areas for process improvements or issues with adverse effect on inventory management; the applicant for this role should have the mental, creative, and analytical capability to identify problems and proffer solutions.
- Detail-oriented individual to ensure inventory accuracy with minimal adjustments.
