This role serves as the primary administrator for HR systems, ensuring data integrity for HR processes across the employee lifecycle. The Senior Analyst will partner closely with leaders in Human Resources, Accounting and IT to leverage data, automation, and emerging technologies that optimize workforce processes, enhance the employee experience, and deliver actionable insights that support NISA's talent strategy and organizational objectives. Essential duties and responsibilities of the Senior Analyst, HRIS include:
Own and continuously evolve NISA's HR technology roadmap - evaluating new capabilities, upgrades, and process improvements for ADP Workforce Now and related HR systems, coordinating with HR and Accounting leadership given both teams' heavy reliance on ADP Workforce Now
- Provide support across NISA's HR platforms, with scope expected to broaden over time to include other functions within the Administration business unit, such as applicant tracking and related systems supporting the Recruiting team
- Translate HR business processes into system configuration, enhancements, and process improvements across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding, and provide heightened support during key HR cycles such as open enrollment, year-end, and performance reviews
- Partner with IT/Application Management colleagues to design, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between ADP Workforce Now, ServiceNow, and downstream systems (benefits, identity/access, time and attendance, and reporting), ensuring reliable, accurate data flows across the HR technology landscape
- Serve as HR's primary point of contact with software vendors, including ADP and ServiceNow, partnering with Accounting on ADP Workforce Now given both teams' shared reliance on the system, and working with IT/Application Management colleagues to ensure timely resolution of issues within established service-level agreements (SLAs) and continuous improvement of the HR technology environment
- Partner within the HR team to develop and maintain standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards ensuring accuracy and consistency while safeguarding the confidentiality of sensitive employee data
- Conduct regular audits of HRIS data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across ADP Workforce Now, ServiceNow, and downstream systems
- Support HR compliance reporting requirements (e.g., EEO-1, VETS-4212, ACA) by producing accurate, audit-ready data extracts from HRIS platforms
- Use AI-assisted tools within firm controls to accelerate data validation, report drafting, and documentation, retaining human review over decisions affecting employee records and compliance reporting
- Document configurations, integration specifications, and support procedures; develop end-user knowledge articles; and deliver HR technology training to HR and business users
- Own application administration for HR systems, including user provisioning, security role maintenance, data integrity controls, and audit support - coordinating ADP Workforce Now configuration and changes with HR and Accounting as shared stakeholders - ensuring compliance with data privacy and NISA's information security and data-handling standards given the sensitivity of employee data
- Lead testing and validation of system updates, patches, releases, and new feature rollouts, including ADP Workforce Now and ServiceNow upgrades, coordinating with IT/Application Management on technical execution and deployment
- Define requirements and business needs for ServiceNow HR Service Delivery components - workflows, catalog items, forms, and cases - and partner with IT/Application Management on configuration deployment
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for NISA's HR technology platforms, performing root-cause analysis and partnering with IT/Application Management on complex technical escalations
