Bring your neurology nursing expertise to a high-volume outpatient environment where clinical judgment, patient education, procedural support, and interdisciplinary collaboration come together every day. UVA Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Adult Neurology Outpatient, a clinic-based role supporting patients with complex neurological symptoms and diseases, including stroke, movement disorders, memory concerns, neuromuscular conditions, epilepsy, headaches, multiple sclerosis, and neuroimmunological disorders. This is an opportunity to practice hands-on ambulatory nursing in a specialty setting that offers clinical variety, meaningful patient relationships, and a more predictable schedule than many inpatient roles. The Role As an Adult Neurology Outpatient RN, you will be part of a large, busy specialty clinic that sees approximately 150-200 patients per day across 29 exam rooms. This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys fast-paced outpatient care, complex patient needs, procedural variety, and being part of a team that adjusts quickly to meet the needs of the day. This position offers schedule flexibility with either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, depending on clinic needs. There are no weekends, no holidays, no nights, and no on-call requirements. Once fully trained, there may be potential for occasional remote work. You will support specialty neurology care through direct patient interaction, procedure assistance, nurse-driven visits, care coordination, and patient education. The team is also focused on improving procedure workflows and expanding opportunities for RN-led care, including hands-on treatments for patients with neurological and neuropathic conditions. In an average day, you may:
