As an Infusion RN with UVA Health's Cancer Care Fishersville Infusion team, you will support patients through treatment journeys that often span weeks, months, and meaningful relationships. This is an opportunity for a caring, experienced nurse to deliver infusion care in a highly engaged, team-oriented environment where nurses support one another and leadership is present in the daily work. With a daytime schedule, no call, and a growing infusion program, this role offers the chance to practice at a high level while building trusted relationships with patients and colleagues. The Role As a Registered Nurse on the Cancer Care Fishersville Infusion team, you will administer infusions for oncology patients in a setting built around safety, efficiency, collaboration, and compassionate care. This is hands-on clinical nursing with a strong relational component: you will often care for the same patients over time, becoming a familiar and trusted part of their treatment experience. This is a day-shift position, working 36 hours a week with typical hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The role includes no call and working every 8th weekend, offering a schedule that supports professional commitment while preserving life outside of work. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire. Experience: 1 year of relevant experience. Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly.
