Position The Inventory Control Coordinator supports the production of parts by replenishing departments plant wide and ensuring production workers have needed materials to maintain the flow of work without interruptions. What you will do: Utilizing 5S principles, assist in maintaining departmental flow and cleanliness. Ensure the right parts are being received, shipped, and produced based on the production schedule. Using mobile carts, retrieve components and materials, kit those based on work instructions, and match the job number to kits; put required kits and material on to carts and move to the appropriate areas. Update part completion in the computer. May package parts and may place parts in an oven area or warm room. Keep the production operators at their workstations by maintaining general supplies on carts. Communicate with operators in other departments to obtain and deliver supplies and materials. What you will need to be successful: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community. Ability to comprehend written instructions and follow demonstrated steps. Basic math skills. Possess analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. One year of directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in warehousing a plus.
