About the RoleThe Technical Quality Assurance Inspector IV is responsible for performing expert-level inspections of manufacturing goods during and at the completion of the manufacturing process. This role involves conducting highly detailed visual, dimensional and electrical inspections of individual items, sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. The inspector will interpret complex prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards and certifications. You will work with cross-functional teams determining root causes of non-conformances and support continuous improvement activities. Additionally, this role includes providing guidance and mentorship to the inspection team.In this role, you will perform expert-level inspections of manufacturing goods during and at the end of the manufacturing process, certify completed products, and conduct highly detailed dimensional and electrical inspections of sub-assemblies or final system assemblies. You will interpret complex prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in-process or final assemblies while ensuring compliance with the highest quality standards, specifications, and industry certifications. Additionally, you will document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and communicate inspection findings to relevant stakeholders and management. You will assist in drafting work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), lead or closely collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams in root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming products, and utilize Microsoft Office suite tools for documentation and reporting. Furthermore, you will collaborate in continuous improvement initiatives through cross-functional teams, maintain proficiency in industry standards and certifications, including NASA and IPC, and provide expert guidance and mentorship to Level I-III inspectors. Lastly, you will lead quality assurance projects and initiatives and support internal and external audits. Pay Range: $31.90 - $43.87Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education,experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
