What We're Looking For: A detail-oriented and proactive Housekeeping Preventative Maintenance team member who ensures guest rooms and public spaces remain in top condition. You'll perform scheduled deep-cleaning and maintenance tasks, inspect furniture and fixtures, and address minor repairs to uphold Loews' standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort. Your work behind the scenes ensures every guest enjoys a flawless stay. Who You Are:

What You'll Do:
Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks in guest rooms and public areas (e.g., carpet shampooing, upholstery cleaning, drapery steaming). Inspect and maintain furniture, fixtures, and equipment; tighten screws, replace light bulbs, and report larger issues to Engineering. Clean and maintain vents, filters, and other components to ensure proper air quality and functionality. Rotate mattresses, check bed frames, and ensure bedding meets brand standards. Conduct periodic inspections for wear and tear; document findings and follow up on corrective actions. Follow all safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment when handling chemicals or tools. Ensure compliance with Loews Hotels' standards and local health regulations. Report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly to management. Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and tools; request replenishment as needed. Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering for room access and scheduling to minimize guest disruption. Complete work orders and log maintenance activities accurately in property systems. Respond courteously to guest inquiries during tasks; escalate service requests to the appropriate department. Maintain professionalism and discretion when working in occupied rooms.
Other Responsibilities:
Regularly lift up to 45 pounds, reach, bend, crouch, kneel, push, pull, and walk. Regular attendance in conformance with standards. May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs. Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
Previous experience in housekeeping or maintenance roles preferred. Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, tools, and minor repair procedures. Ability to operate floor machines, carpet extractors, and other cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills for logging tasks and completing work orders. Willingness to learn and adapt to new methods and technologies.
